At Arethia, our procurement practices are driven by a deep commitment to sustainability, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement. This policy extends to all our suppliers, ensuring we foster a responsible and impactful supply chain.

Our goals and how we intendto achieve them

We have set two ambitious goals to ensure our supply chain is sustainable and  responsible. Here's what we're aiming for and how we plan to achieve it.

EcoVadis Participation: We aim for 100% of our A-level suppliers to participate in  EcoVadis by 2026

Integrate EcoVadis standards into our supplier selection process

Provide support and resources to help suppliers meet these standards

Evaluate suppliers using checklists and documentation, and
seek alternatives if  they don't meet agreed measures.

Sustainability Certification: We target 40% of our
suppliers to have a sustainability  certification by 2026.

Promote the importance of sustainability certifications.

Guide suppliers through the certification process.

Conduct regular assessments and prioritize certified suppliers.

Guiding principles and compliance:
Avoid, Reduce, Compensate

Our climate strategy emphasises "Avoid before Reduce before Compensate," focusing  on minimising environmental impacts before addressing and compensating for them.  Committed to a comprehensive sustainability approach, our Sustainable Procurement  Policy emphasises the following areas:

Environmental

Greenhouse Gas Reduction: Reduce emissions, air pollution, and water  scarcity

Energy Efficiency: Increase the use of renewable energy

Resource Optimization: Improve resource consumption and waste  management.

Social

Safe Work Conditions: Ensure fair and safe working environments for all  stakeholders.

Human Rights: Uphold and respect human rights and labour standards.

Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all  operations.

Governance

Ethical Conduct: Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.

Sustainable Supply Chains: Ensure all supply chains are sustainable and  ethical.

We encourage suppliers to report any issues regarding non-compliance with our  standards. Suppliers can confidentially report concerns to ethics@arethia.com or  through our Whistleblowing system at Whistleblowing system.
